Hermes Operator ("the App") is a privacy-first Android home screen launcher, telephony console, and client interface for user-operated Hermes AI Agent Gateways built by Core Singularity. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data, nor do we include third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
To function as your primary Android Launcher, Agenda Ledger, and Voice Transmission Console, the App requests access to the following on-device permissions:
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES): Used strictly on-device to populate the Editorial App Drawer and launch apps installed on your device. Installed package lists are never transmitted to external servers.READ_CONTACTS, READ_PHONE_STATE, CALL_PHONE, ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS, MANAGE_OWN_CALLS, BIND_INCALL_SERVICE): Used strictly on-device to display caller names for incoming/outgoing cellular calls, dial numbers from the built-in E · LIFE keypad, and manage active calls in the E · LIFE Voice Transmission card.READ_CALENDAR, WRITE_CALENDAR): Used strictly on-device to display upcoming schedule events in the E · LIFE agenda section and create calendar events when explicitly requested by the user.RECORD_AUDIO, CAMERA): Used only when you actively initiate a voice dispatch or visual capture to send to your configured Hermes Agent Gateway.POST_NOTIFICATIONS, BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC, REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS): Used to display incoming device dispatches in B · WIRE and to keep active AI agent WebSocket/HTTP streams alive while a prompt is executing in the background.A · FLEET / D · GROUP) are transmitted only to the Hermes Agent Gateway URL (HTTP/HTTPS/WS/WSS) that you explicitly configure in Gateway Settings (e.g., your local machine or private Tailscale node).
All preferences, gateway endpoints, widget bindings, and recent call transmission metadata are stored locally in Android's private application storage (SharedPreferences) on your device. Uninstalling the App or clearing App Storage permanently deletes all locally stored data.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
